Pre-Conference Workshop

Emerging Leader Lab

People analytics leaders need to do analytics as well as manage analysts. But in order to gain credibility and grow their teams, people analytics leaders need to show up as HR and business leaders as well. How do you attract, nurture, and retain the best analytics talent? How do you build a roadmap, prioritize projects, and manage stakeholders’ ever increasing demands? How do you build a business case for investment in people analytics when HR budgets are flat or shrinking? How do you drive sustainable change and help stakeholders adapt to the new data-driven environment? How do you partner with Finance in workforce planning and with IT in building a broad-based technology platform to democratize data and insights? How do you introduced and leverage AI applications? How do you keep your own skills current as you elevate HR’s analytics capability? How do you navigate your career within HR, across other analytics businesses within the organization, and the broader people analytics talent market? Get some guidance and advice from a people analytics pioneer known for building people analytics teams since 1999. But also learn from other workshop participants’ experiences as well. This workshop is for new as well as aspiring people analytics leaders.

Participants will receive a separate, complimentary 50 minute individual executive coaching session. If you are the first people analytics leader in your organization, join a new research program on “founding” people analytics leaders.
